This site tracks stocks explicitly pitched on value-investing podcasts — and then checks how each pitch actually did. Every pitch is recorded with the speaker, the episode and the evidence for the call, entered at the first trading close after the episode, and its performance is measured against SPY over the same dates, so a pick only counts as a win if it beat the index. Coverage: four active shows — We Study Billionaires, Value After Hours, The Acquirers Podcast and Business Breakdowns. The core window is 2 Aug – 2 Nov 2026 (42 episodes), and Value After Hours and We Study Billionaires rows have now been resolved from full episode transcripts back to Nov 2025, so those two shows carry additional resolved picks, holds, watchlist entries and passes from the earlier months. A fifth show, Focused Compounding, is paused and is not currently tracked. All returns end on the last completed trading day — currently the 4 Nov 2026 close — and are refreshed daily to the latest completed close.
Everything on this site is information about what podcast speakers said and how those stocks performed afterwards. It is not investment advice, a recommendation, or an offer to buy or sell any security. Do your own research and consider speaking to a licensed financial adviser before making any investment decision. Past pitch performance does not predict future results.
Where this stands: This is the launch version of the tracker. The scoring rules and the four pick lists are settled. The Value After Hours and We Study Billionaires review backlog has now been worked through from full transcripts (acquirersmultiple.com for VAH; theinvestorspodcast.com, read signed in, for WSB): resolved rows carry their transcript stance — Long, Watchlist, Pass, Hold or exit — with prices and returns to the 4 Nov 2026 close where verified, and Golfzon is now priced on its 14 Oct entry. Tickers checked against full VAH transcripts that turned out to be mentions only — GILD, ELMD, BKMG, UFOD and MSTU, plus TSLA from S08 E11 (Tesla discussed as Elon Musk's story, with no buy/own decision) — are not picks and do not appear in the lists. The full transcripts for S08 E11, S08 E14 and S08 E16 are on acquirersmultiple.com (an earlier pass missed those main posts) and they resolve those episodes: DECK, ALK and BLDR are Christopher Bloomstran Longs from S08 E14 — BLDR is recorded as a Long because Bloomstran said the wrong name “builder supply” in the transcript for that position, and BLDR is the ticker tagged in the episode title, while BRK.B in S08 E14 and S08 E16 carries no explicit personal buy/own decision — E16 discusses Berkshire valuation (475–510) and buybacks only — so it is not scored as a Long and sits in the resolved no-decision records — labelled “No decision in episode — not scored” — not in Needs review. We Study Billionaires rows that come from Mastermind or guest-fund segments are kept in a separate “Mastermind / guest” list: they are not Intrinsic Value Portfolio decisions and are never scored as IVP Longs. Inside that list, each row is badged by its Mastermind stance — Long where the transcript shows a pick or a holding (Long in the Mastermind sense only), Needs review where it shows no pick decision. The 12 We Study Billionaires core-window names previously grouped as Passes have been re-split on the confirmed basis — Watchlist (7): CPRT, DPZ, WMT, HEI, RMS (Hermès), GE, SHOP — liked but not bought, usually on valuation — and Pass (5): FIX, APP, META, TDG, MC (LVMH) — discussed but too hard to make a call. Rows that still cannot be resolved from a transcript stay labelled “Needs review” rather than guessed. Boyar and Melvin picks are priced on their corrected YouTube livestream entries (Boyar 30 Sep, Melvin 28 Oct). All returns end on the last completed trading day — currently 4 Nov 2026 — and are refreshed daily to the latest completed close. There is no leaderboard and speakers are not ranked — see “Picks by speaker” below. Focused Compounding coverage is paused.
Search by ticker, company, speaker or show. “What happened after” for Watchlist and Pass entries is shown for context only — it is not a pick return, because no position was taken. Mastermind / guest rows are We Study Billionaires segments where the speaker was pitching for themselves, a Mastermind panel or their own fund — they are not Intrinsic Value Portfolio decisions and are not scored as IVP Longs, so they are listed separately from the four pick lists. Inside that list, each row carries its Mastermind stance: Long where the transcript shows a pick or a holding — Long in the Mastermind / guest sense only, never an IVP Long — and Needs review where no pick decision was made. Rows labelled “No decision in episode — not scored” are different: they were resolved from full transcripts — the stock was discussed but no buy/own decision was made in that episode — so they are closed, resolved records, not Needs review.
There is no leaderboard and speakers are not ranked: no speaker has enough scored picks for a ranking to be fair, so this page shows counts only — no order of merit and no winner. Speakers are listed alphabetically.

Active Tier 1 shows, plus one paused source. Value After Hours episodes count once, under Value After Hours; Value Options episodes are counted separately.
The rules below are fixed in advance and published with the data, so anyone can check a number — or see exactly why something was left out.
Only stocks a speaker explicitly pitches on the episode are tracked — a clear buy case, a stated position, or (for Business Breakdowns) a full deep-dive thesis. Passing mentions, sponsor reads, and stocks merely discussed with no call made are never picks. Where a show gives its own verdict — a stock added to We Study Billionaires’ Intrinsic Value Portfolio, or not added — that verdict decides Long vs. Pass.
The first trading close after the episode date — a listener couldn’t act before hearing the pitch. For Value After Hours the episode date is the YouTube livestream date (Tuesdays), not the Thursday podcast date, so entries use the first close after the livestream.
SPY over the exact same dates as each pick. A pick only “wins” if it beats SPY, not merely if it goes up. Longs and Shorts are always tracked and reported separately.
Every return runs from the pick’s entry close to the last completed trading day — currently the 4 Nov 2026 close — and returns are refreshed daily to the latest completed close. No return ever uses a partial, still-open trading day.
Speakers are not ranked and there is no leaderboard or winner. Most speakers have only a handful of scored picks, so a ranking would be decided by noise, not record. This page shows unranked counts of picks by speaker instead.
Holds count as Long, flagged as Hold, and are not scored at the episode-entry price (the position was bought earlier). A sold exit closes the original Long — its performance to the exit date counts — and is never recorded as a new Short.
Watchlist = liked but not bought, usually on valuation. Pass = discussed but too hard to call. Neither is scored; later price moves are labelled “what happened after”, never a pick return.
Tracked, but separately from common-stock picks, and on total return including dividends/distributions — price-only returns would misstate them. Melvin’s preferred names (FUTP, FCNCN, MBIN, PFFA and others) sit in the review list until tickers are confirmed.
We Study Billionaires rows from Mastermind panels, guest-fund episodes (for example a guest describing their own fund's holdings) and bull/bear debates are kept in a separate Mastermind / guest list. They are not Intrinsic Value Portfolio decisions and are never scored as IVP Longs, however bullish the segment sounds. Within that list, a row is badged Long where the transcript shows a pick or a holding, and Needs review where it shows no pick decision.
A ticker that is only mentioned — an anecdote, a board seat, a product the speaker issues, or a name that appears only in an episode title — is not a pick. Tickers checked against full Value After Hours transcripts on that basis (GILD, ELMD, BKMG, UFOD, MSTU and TSLA from S08 E11) were removed from the lists entirely. BLDR from S08 E14 is not in that removed group: Bloomstran said the wrong name “builder supply” for the position in the transcript, and BLDR is also tagged in the episode title, so that position is recorded as a BLDR Long on that basis. A stock discussed at length but with no explicit personal buy/own decision in the episode — BRK.B in S08 E14 and S08 E16 — is likewise not scored as a Long. Those two BRK.B rows are kept as resolved no-decision records, labelled “No decision in episode — not scored”, each with its full-transcript link — they are not in Needs review.
PINE is excluded — it is an asset owned by CTO, not a Melvin pick. Passing mentions and sponsor reads are never picks. Nothing is silently deleted; reclassifications are noted on the record.
